INTRODUCING VITALITY GP – A NEW, FULLY JOINED-UP SERVICE

Most importantly, Vitality GP is a completely joined-up service, fully integrating primary care services and health insurance. It keeps patients entirely in the private sector from start to finish, unless they’re referred for emergency or NHS treatment.

HOW VITALITY GP WORKS

Taking advantage of the huge advances in mobile and digital technology, Vitality GP gives patients one-on-one virtual access to a fully-qualified GP at their convenience. The doctor can then refer patients for a range of test procedures and follow-up treatments, as well as prescribe private prescriptions. The best bit, clients can access this service all from the comfort of their own home or office, via a smartphone or tablet1.

When a member uses the Vitality GP service, doctors will also have access to their health data from Vitality. This presents a unique opportunity to promote better health; check understanding of a patient’s health and fitness results; and help them make lifestyle changes.
